Delete your Rovi account

1. 1Open Rovi and go to Settings.
2. 2Tap Delete account.
3. 3Tell us why if you like, then confirm.

This works for registered and guest accounts alike, and you are signed out straight away.

• You are signed out on every device, and the account can no longer be used.
• Your profile is removed from the app, and your name, photo and profile details are erased. Your email address, phone number and Google or Apple sign-in are detached from it.
• Your posts, reels, stories and comments disappear from every feed and profile, and you are removed from other people’s followers, Match lists, the map and rankings.
• Coins and diamonds left in your balance are forfeited, and any membership you have ends.
• Rooms you own are closed, and you leave any rooms and game tables you are in.

Thirty days after you delete your account, we permanently delete your photos, videos, posts, reels, stories, comments and the media you sent in chats. We keep them for those thirty days only so that we can look into reports of abuse made before you left, or shortly after.

• Records of purchases and of coin and diamond balances, for as long as the law requires. They are linked only to an internal account number — not to your name or contact details.
• Text messages you sent in private chats remain in the other person’s conversation, shown as coming from a deleted account.
• Reports other people made about content you posted, so that we can act on them.

Deleting your account does not cancel a VIP membership bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings so that you are not charged again. Memberships paid by card or with coins stop on their own.

Email us from the address you signed up with — or tell us the phone number you used — with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours; we then delete it within 30 days and let you know.

If you sign up again later with the same email address, phone number, or Google or Apple account, you start a new, empty account. Nothing from the deleted account can be recovered.
